Is A Roller Coaster Fun? (How to stop your chronic pain)
I’m writing this in case this helps anyone get an insight. It’s not the best analogy or metaphor but I feel it could be helpful. I hate rollercoasters yet I found it brought a smile to me.
Imagine riding a roller coaster and experiencing emotions like fear, anxiety, being overwhelmed, panic etc. Some of us do it for fun. I hate them. But even I have to admit, that I feel great afterwards, perhaps in relief that it’s over, but still, that it was worth the ride and thrills.
Sometimes we don’t have a choice. Life is a rollercoaster. You have no idea what bend or dip is coming up next. So why not embrace these emotions in daily life and not fight them. Enjoy the roller coaster of life the same way.
